Wale keeps the heat coming. Two days after unveiling "Voices In My Head," his collab with Highbridge Voices and Metro Boomin, the MMG rapper comes through with a remix of Puffy and Pharrell's "Finna Get Loose." The original came out at the end of June and was billed as the return of Puff Daddy & The Family, or his group of Bad Boy record-setting producers "The Hitmen."
Though "Finna Get Loose" showed that Puffy is still full of fresh ideas, it wasn't exactly a rap record -- more of an early '90s B-boy cut with intermittent one-liners from hypemen Puffy and Pharrell (50 Cent likened it to an African chant...). In any case, it's good to hear some bars over the high energy production. Wale opens the record with an extended verse and then let's the original play out. In his opening lines, he namedrops DMV young guns GoldLink, Young Gleesh, and Shy Glizzy.
How's Wale's freestyle game?

Supporting them young n*ggas is how you thanking me
Hot shots, now where's the place to be
Years later, I still got Tre with me
