On October 7, the A3C Festival in Atlanta will showcase some of hip-hop's finest talent both young and old, including De La Soul, Cam'Ron, and Wiz Khalifa. Along with the festival, A3C is prepping volume 5 of their annual compilation tape, which will be released on October 2. At the beginning of the week, young Philly rapper Tunji Ige, dropped off the compilation's first single, "Dark Liquor," and for the second single, A3C has decided to enlist some New York legends.
The new compilation track is a remix of "Journey" by U-God of the Wu-Tang Clan and the eccentric virtuoso Kool Keith. The track was originally released in July 2013 on U-God's last album, The Keynote Speaker. The new remix features added verses from Vordul Mega and Vast Aire of the underground duo Cannibal Ox, who recently released Blade of the Ronin after a 14-year album hiatus.
