It looks like Mack 10’s son, District 21, is following in the footsteps of his father in the music industry. Currently working on a new project titled Drugtowns, the Cali newcomer decides to come through this morning with project’s first single called “New Things,” which we’re happy to premiere for y’all.
Over the Blair Norf-production, District 21 delivers a slow tempo cut that finds him showing off his effortless flow & slick wordplay, all while speaking to the ladies. Add an infectious chorus into the mix and you got yourself a smooth new record to vibe out to.
District shared a some thoughts on the song via email, writing, "This song was inspired by personal experiences and the things I've been around growing up. A lot of the time, women will do anything for anyone just to get ahead. Not to say there's anything wrong with it, but it's the truth. So I just decided to talk about it."
