We haven't heard much from Mack Wilds since he broke through with New York: A Love Story in 2013, which means he's probably got something big planned soon. Today he's shared his first song since February's one-off, "Girls Playin' Tricks," which finds him back in some comfortable traditional R&B territory.
A heavily-filtered vocal loop provides the backing to Mack's confessions, as he brags to an old flame he's trying to court for the night. He pulls out some impressive falsetto moves in the latter half, proving his vocal chops once again. No word on when his next project is dropping, but this record is a good indication that Mack's got something special brewing.
Quotable Lyrics:
It ain't like we've been doing things
'Cause you were mine before you two began
Past times of lovin' you
Liquor, sweat, and touchin'
The break-ups, make-ups
And kissing every inch of you
