Montreal's Wasiu shared the first single from his upcoming EP a couple weeks bcak, and he's already back with yet another release from the project. "Good Girl," begins with a minimal riff provided by frequent collaborator Dear Lola, before it gradually shape-shifts into a glitchy synth jam (it's actually a flip of The Internet's Kaytranada-produced "Girl"). Throughout, Wasiu keeps his delivery double-time, now-and-again breaking into a blinding triplet flow.
He packs a whole lot of energy into the 2 minute run-time, successfully getting us excited for the MTLiens EP, due out at the end of the week. Look out for it to drop here on September 4th. Make sure to check out his recent track, "No Chance" (once again produced by Dear Lola) here.
