Kanye West's Late Registration ten years ago today, and coincidentally hearing the LP (specifically "Roses") was the moment that Richmond, Virginia rapper Reppa Ton started taking music seriously. The DNA of that album is heard somewhat on "Timeless" which shares the lush production and attention to detail that made Ye's second LP great. With that being said, Ton is on to something new with this material, and already found himself opening for the likes of Dizzy Wright, Young Roddy, Rapper Big Pooh, Emilio Rojas, Father, DRAM, and more in the process.
"Timeless" has placed Reppa Ton among this week's final four Heatseekers. If you like to have your song or video featured on the site, you can submit content to us here.
Quotable Lyrics:
I'll proceed as a king to my chair
Bring peace
Releasing the night air
Memories of the moments that we shared
