Rappers really like the movie "Drive," or least one song from its soundtrack. Since Nicholas Winding Refn's excellent slice of neo-noir dropped in 2011, Childish Gambino, Lupe Fiasco, GLC, Holt and many more have either sampled Kavinsky's chunky sythpop anthem "Nightcall," or offered up their own versions, and today, Just Luu throws his hat into that ring.
Making his own version of "Nightcall" the first half of a two-part track, Luu mimics the track's vocal melody on it before switching gears for the more subdued, eerie "Full Moon." Daniel Worth of MostHigh produced the track's second half, making for quite the well-rounded release.
Check out Luu's other new track "Lock & Load."
Quotable Lyrics
I wanna rock your world for the night
You do all of the nice things
I wanna do it right here on the floor
Bring out all of the right things
