Camp Flog Gnaw, an annual event that began as the Odd Future Carnival and has grown bigger and broader in each year since, has a pretty solid lineup this year. Even so, new additions continue to pour in.
Today, it's been announced that two noteable live acts, funk-pop bandleader Anderson .Paak and jazz mastermind Kamasi Washington, have been added to the bill. For those unfamiliar, Kamasi played a major role in the making of Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly, while Anderson did the same for Dr. Dre's Compton. Their respective albums, The Epic and Malibu have become two of the most critically acclaimed LPs of the last two years.
Anderson and Kamasi, along with MixedByAli, will join the already impressive lineup that includes, Chance The Rapper, ASAP Rocky, Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, ScHoolboy Q, and of course, Tyler, The Creator at this year's event. The festival happens Novemer 12-13 in Los Angeles' Exposition Park. More info can be found on the fest's official website.
