On September 4th, Texas OG Scarface will be releasing his new solo album Deeply Rooted, and the latest cut from it is quite a powerful track. "God" makes great use of John Legend's soulful pipes, and should be one of the heaviest songs on the album.
Scarface shows his wisdom and skill for vivid imagery here, imagining a world devoid of the divine power he believes in. "God" follows up previously released Deeply Rooted cuts "The Exit Plan" (which features Akon) and "Steer," the latter of which just dropped about two weeks ago. Sounds like it's shaping up to be another great Scarface project.

Quotable Lyrics
All the stabbings and the wars would come to cease
My whole entire hood would be at peace, no more beef
And you could sleep without the fears of being woke
By the sounds of sirens and people being smoked
