Well, well. Talib Kweli came through with a new single this morning, "Fuck The Money," which serves as the title track off his forthcoming free album. Now, we also have a new record from his former counterpart, Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def. Happy Friday to you.
On "Basquiat Ghostwriter," Yasiin raps over abstract and trippy production, using inspiration from Basquiat's paintings for the content of his lyrics. He aims to provide a commentary on our current social issues, backing the record up with this note:
