As the worlds of hip hop and EDM continue their pattern of cross-pollination, the number of producers on either side of the genre gap who have yet to attempt crossovers grows smaller each day. The latest from the rap side of things to share a foray into the more high-octane, sensory-overloading world of big tent electronic music is DJ Dahi, who shares a new instrumental called "DROP."
This is no paint by numbers, DJ Mustard's "7/11" remix style of EDM, though. As holds true for his more hip hop-minded compositions, DJ Dahi's take on the genre is adventurous, but plays just enough by the rules to appeal to fans on either side of the divide.
