JUSTUS, not to be confused with the rapper of the same name who just appeared on some Dr. Dre tracks, "is a twenty one year old artist born and raised on Long Island, New York." He has the following to say about himself:
"In his freshman year of high school he began producing and making music. He developed his writing abilities and, with the help of his family, began performing and working with notable producers. After about a year of working with Dee Wiz, a producer for the Grammy nominated group Salt n Pepa, a song JUSTUS created with Dee Wiz was passed to the group them self. After hearing the song titled "Hands Up", they wanted to record it for a new up-coming project they had in the works. After they recorded the song written by JUSTUS they performed it on the Oprah Winfrey show and Oprah was seen singing along with the lyrics. He has also performed and opened for artists Meek Mill, French Montana, and Fabolous. At Brookfest 2014 he opened for Childish Gambino amd Diplo and the following year for Brookfest 2015 he opened for B.o.B, Twenty One Pilots, and Panic at the Disco. JUSTUS says 'music is my passion and my life. I have been working harder than I ever have to make my dream a reality. I appreciate every single person who is supporting me and my music. This is our time.'"
"Don't You Wait" has placed JUSTUS among this week's final four Heatseekers. If you like to have your song or video featured on the site, you can submit content to us here.
