B.o.B decided to send us something special for our weekly Throwback Thursday track, with a previously-unreleased song dating back to 2006. Hard to believe, but that's almost ten years ago. We had a similar situation with last week's TBT, when a Kendrick Lamar record surfaced from then-K. Dot, "Hub City's Wild Side."
For this self-produced cut from Bobby Ray, titled "Hello Neighbor," we hear a much younger B.o.B give us some funky country flavor. It's sounds like B.o.B was influenced by OutKast in the making of this record-- the musicality, the experimental flow and vocals, it's all slightly reminiscent of the ATLiens. What do you think?
Quotable Lyrics
Quit with all the boo-hoo, go and take a doo-doo
Get that shit up out your system so you can be new-new
Why you gotta complain?
I know for who make chump change
Can still move out the hood
Hit the beach and catch a sun tan
