Lil Boosie Badazz received plenty of praise with his recent album, and first studio LP post-prison, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell. Since the album's release, he's been featured on a few different records, including Tyga's "Pleazer" and Trae Tha Truth's "Tricken Every Car I Get."
Today he returns with a new solo release, "Letter to Pac." The Baton Rouge rapper has often been compared to Tupac, and that's something he addresses in the record. He admits that the comparisons are a bit daunting, however, they do have a few similarities. Boosie also vents about his time in prison and the current state of the world-- Barack Obama as President, Suge Knight's hit-and-run, the downward spiral of CD sales, among other things.
Quotable Lyrics
Pac, they charged me with murders and maced me in my cell
Still, I got high in that bitch every day, l-o-l
Your mama smiling, she even got her own college
You served a purpose, you gave millions of kids with nothing knowledge
Guess what? Suge just hit a nigga in a car, heard he killed the nigga
Pac, now he say he goin' blind, I hope he beat them bitches
They still got money for wars but can't feed in the poor
We got a Black President now, Pac, but still ain't got more
