Shawn Harris, the rapper formerly known as Nikko Lafre, has been going through a transitional phase that extends beyond just the name change. Since delivering his last mixtape, Troubled Soul: Blame the City, he's experimented with his sound and style. The Minnesota native delivered hard-hitting bangers on that last mixtape, and today, delivers the opposite of that with the r'n'b-leaning "Love Like Drugs." The record, co-produced by Seventh Soldano and Harris, has Nikko Shawn singing for the length of the song-- no rap verse to be found. It's the first record off his forthcoming EP, Where You Belong.
