Despite blowing up this year with "White Iverson," "Too Young" and "Tears," Post Malone still hasn't announced plans for a full-length debut, but if he consistently keeps dropping gems, who really cares? After showing up on Zuse's "On God" last weekend, the Texas native shares a new solo cut called "Holyfield."
Produced by his close collaborators FKi, as well as Rex Kudo and Charlie Handsome, the track references boxer Evander Holyfield's now-infamous fight with Mike Tyson, in which he got a piece of his ear bitten off. Malone shows more vocal range here than we've heard from him before, and when that's combined with pretty ambitious song structure, "Holyfield" sounds like one of his best yet.
