In the past year or so, Kevin Gates has formed a reputation based mostly on two things: his ferocious, tireless rapping and his crude social media presence, which has sometimes even veered into incest and beastiality. Taking both of those sides of his personality into consideration, his latest track is a shock. "Kno One" is as close to a slow jam as he's ever gotten, singing a surprisingly sweet hook and not sounding like veins are busting out of his forehead on the verses.
Of course, Gates is a deep dude who has emo-rap gems like "Arms of A Stranger" in his back catalog, but this is the most traditionally romantic shit he's ever done... and it's dope.
