Last we heard from Black Migo Gang's Young Scooter, he teamed up with buzzing Houston rappers Sauce Twinz for the appropriately-titled "Houston to Lil Mexico," referencing both artists native cities. Today he returns with production from Metro Boomin for "No Rules," a slow-moving song that's all about Scooter's boss-ass lifestyle. The production from Atlanta's Metro Boomin is heavily layered, but among the interesting components there's a Spanish-style guitar riff and Nintendo-like bouncing noises. It creates a hazy feel, with Scooter's drawn-out hook adding to the lethargic collaboration.
We're still awaiting word on Scooter's official debut album, but enjoy leaks like this in the meantime.
Quotable Lyrics
'Scooter Hollywood, he done changed on me'
That's what they say, but I ain't never change on my homies
Cause we jug to the top on this dirty money
They swagger jacking, they swagger jackin
We saran wrappin', we saran wrappin'
