R-Mean's got a new project called 7 Deadly Sins on the way, and today, we have the privilege of premiering one of its tracks. "Fake Mutha (Envy)" features The Game, who previously teamed up with R-Mean on "Lost Angels."
With each track on the project representing one of the seven deadly sins (wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony), "Fake Mutha" depicts the jealousy often spoken of in hip hop. "Envy in their hearts, real talk, and that's preceded by a hashtag," R-Mean raps on the final verse. The production here is guitar-driven and slightly Western-sounding, adding a decidedly Cali feel to the track.

Turn it up so I can run in the spot, finish the job
Pull burner, she like "whoa"
Fuck is you, Black Rob?
