Que continues to impress with latest effort "Somebody To Vent To," in which he uses the listener as an outlet to hear his lament -- "don't mind while I vent, I'm just thinking out loud." He demonstrates his versatility here by crooning about his troubles, especially his grandmother's recent death. Seen in context of "OG Bobby Johnson," "Somebody To Vent To" very much makes Que into a sympathetic figure.
On the flips side, the production features some arpeggiated guitar straight out of some early '00s Usher or Ja Rule, a.k.a. Tha Hottness. An enterprising young man might be wise to put this on to set the mood with his girl. Despite Que's sorrow, "Somebody To Vent To" can function and even excel as baby-making music.
Quotable Lyrics
Swear if it ain't one thing, it's always another
And lately I ain't slept like I been working doubles
Giving everything I got just to remain humble
Mulling on her fate, trying not to fumble
