Since we began featuring them on the site, Atlanta duo EarthGang have proved themselves more adept at bridging the gap between '90s ATL and the city's modern music than anyone else. It's almost like crunk and snap music never happened. Their latest, "Ten Ten," sounds like something that would be on ATLiens if it came out in 2015.
Featuring guest verses from frequent collaborator J.I.D., as well as OG Maco, the song is heavy-lidded, hypnotic and smooth. Maco again proves his versatility here with a very low key verse -- anyone who still thinks he's a one-trick pony needs to change their tune immediately.
Quotable Lyrics
Hustle hours, 24 a day
Packed a quarter, we ain't never change
