LA's Azizi Gibson has an album dropping later this year by the name of preHISTORIC Till Death, and took the time today to share "Slave Ship" feat. Waka Flocka, a single off the freshly titled project.
With help from Baltimore producer Millz Douglas and graphic designer Vincent Ramos (contender for hyphiest cover art of 2015), Gibson and Flocka expound on the art of grinding all day while still saving time for drug-fueled shenanigans. -- chillin' until the "government gets rid of us." Indeed, this song is ultimately about the plight of the young black male. "New white bitch in a whip, that's my slave ship."
Quotable Lyrics
Swear they be framing us, degrading us, lame as fuck
I don't even wanna say this much, spark your J
Gaze with us, gang with us, hang with us, slang with us
Before the government gets rid of us
