Sean Brown is definitely Tha Alumni's hardest-working rapper. Kid Ink had his fair share of the mixtape grind, but he's found mainstream fame and thus is able to kick back if ever so slightly. Sean Brown is still on that quest, and he's been both persistent and consistent in his string of free releases. Before he hits us with yet another new mixtape, Solitude, on Wednesday, he's delivering the project's title track. Produced by his frequent collaborator Joey Castalleni, Brown tackles a big sound with layered, distorted vocals, before transitioning into something else altogether. The record's outro slows down and brings a West Coast influence.
Check back with us for Solitude on Wednesday.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm in third person dipping through my sub conscious
Smashing all the freeway without no compass
Living off of pure faith I don't need direction
Let me screw up on my own I don't need correction
