AK, of the NYC duo The Underachievers, delivers a new solo record this afternoon titled "June 13th." The song is titled for AK's birthday, and is in celebration of the event which went down two days ago. With production from Coyote Beatz, AK goes in over wavy production, and he's not stopping until he makes his desired dent on the rap game.
The Underachievers have been a bit quiet since they dropped their joint project with fellow NYC posse Flatbush Zombies, Clockwork Indigo, but they are working on a new album-- and teased fans about the first single off it the other month. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, UA have been touring so you can catch them live.
Quotable Lyrics
Mute a nigga soul like a nigga was a mime
Every day I feel gold, Abdul in his prime
Had to change my moves like Im playing Street Fighter
Now I'll never lose, nigga leave retired
Show you how I do, once you see her she's mine
Had a dream and I turned this shit into real life
