G.R.A.M.Z. shares "Magic Carpet."

Last month, we introduced you to Brooklyn's G.R.A.M.Z. via his dark "John Carpenter" video. Today, he's back with another one from his upcoming concept album, Escape From NY, "Magic Carpet."

Using the "Arabian Nights" reference similarly to Steppenwolf, G.R.A.M.Z. calls this track "a stone cold ode to the drug assisted out of body experiences," and once you listen, it's clear to see what he means. We're presented with a trippy, arpeggiating soundscape, over which the MC adopts a low n' slow flow that gives the track an ever so slightly creepy edge. The artwork, done by @UnkleLuc, matches the song's disorienting vibe.

Stay tuned for Escape From NY.

Quotable Lyrics

Me and my squad don't look up to y'all
We look up to life, then look up the drugs
Then hit up the club
