UK DJ Tazer's "Wet Dollars" record has been out for about two years, but today it's been given new life with the addition of a vocalist-- and not just any vocalist, but Chicago's rising star, Tink. The Timbaland co-signed singer and rapper proves her versatility once again by taking on the blocky house joint, skipping over the synths with a tightly packed flow, before adding some subtle backing melodies to the hook.
The collab is probably an attempt for Tazer to get the record to cross overseas, and we'd certainly love to see that happen, but when it comes to electronic music, American audiences are still as unpredictable as ever.
Head to the 4:00 mark to hear the record, and stay tuned to listen to an interview with both Think and Tazer.
Quotable Lyrics:
One shot, two shot, get on my team
He was a married man 'til he gave me a ring
Club doesn't peak 'til around about 3
So won't you lock it down, feel the burn like...
