Pries is a difficult artist to pin down. The Denver rapper is always experimenting with new sounds, perfecting the art of the R&B-inflected slow jam, the strip club record, and the street anthem. His latest, "Kiss Me," finds him further proving his songwriting abilities, crafting hooks just about everywhere he can fit them. It falls within the same sugary territory as "Trap Queen," which we've seen has a pretty wide reach.
Fans of Pries should be more than happy with the pop gem, and it should also earn him a few new fans. It could be a Vine trend away from really hitting it big.
Quotable Lyrics:
Ain't nothin' better
Than a chick that loves a soldier
If you hold me down
I'll hold you down, I told you
And we'll run to the sun, and our hearts burn out
