We haven't heard new music from Bizzy Crook since he dropped three new tracks out of the blue in the first week of April, but today, he returns with a new one. It's called "Rise," and was produced by J-Dep.
Sounding a lot like Drake's "Headlines," the track begins with a horn-led fanfare that gradual splices in some snare hits and rumbling low-end. Crook matches the triumphant sound with his lyrics, which covers his come-up, haters and various successes. Although similar to Boi-1da's production, J-Dep's work on this song stays unique with its groovy bassline and interestingly spastic use of hi-hats.

Quotable Lyrics
Shit every time I hit the road it's thirty shows
60,000 in two weeks, not selling dope
I settle down when she stop acting like a ho
I know some niggass that been acting like my bro
As if I ain't know
