YG To Charge $100 For Physical Copies Of "Red Friday" Mixtape

YG will be sharing Red Friday, his second project of 2016, this week, and while it's expected to be available largely for free digitally, physical copies will come at a familiar price. Following the wisdom of his close friend and collaborator, Nipsey Hussle, YG has announced plans to sell hard copies of the mixtape at $100 a piece. Those in the Oakland area this Friday will be able to buy a copy and have it personally signed by the rapper. 

YG shared the details of the release in an Instagram post.

Back in 2013, Nipsey Hussle claimed to have made $100,000 off of his Crenshaw mixtape after selling copies for $100 each. Jay Z later purchased 100 copies of the project, expressing admiration for the rapper's business sense.
