Pro Era's A La $ole connects with Domo Genesis on "Where I'm From."

Brooklyn x L.A. collabs aren't too common these days, but there's a definite kinship between Pro Era and Odd Future, committed to the underground as they continue to gain mainstream recognition, proven by A La $ole and Domo Genesis on "Where I'm From."

The result is a mix of NY boom-bap and Cali psychedelia. The raps are street-focused while the beat, from Jordan Granados, lifts the mind with a spacey lightness. The two rappers have a natural chemistry, as $ole explains: "I want you guys to see and understand where Doms & I come from. Even though I'm in Brooklyn and Domo is from Cali, we have many similarities being the artists we are and the situations we've been through."

Are y'all feeling the vibes on this one?

What other members of each crew do you wanna see collab?

Quotable Lyrics

I'm dreamin' way beyond this lil' street shit
Quiet kid, they couldn't see it
Just soakin' all this poison with open eyes they been feedin'
Was a step away from joining, just made my choice not to be it
