Since the jump, Snootie Wild has proven himself adept at paying tribute to classic Southern rap sounds while also appealing to a younger demographic. It could largely be due to the Boosie Badazz guest spot, but on his newest track, "Hatin," Snootie does this better than ever.
The song's Big Wayne beat splits the difference between Mannie Fresh and Zaytoven-- a cavernous, horn-led stomper with plenty of wide-open space for both MCs to flex their flows. Boosie truly dominates this one, making his pre-Touch Down 2 Cause Hell run more vicious by the day.
After being pushed back a week, Snootie's tape Ain't No Stoppin Me is now scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
Quotable Lyrics
Been that way for so long
Family, friends be the first to turn on ya
I swear it's like a common disease like pneumonia
But I'm gon' put that tone on ya
