Awful Records might just be the most prolific crew out of Atlanta right now, in large part because they're constantly helping each other out. After last week's "LMK" with Father, KeithCharles, and Ethereal, Archibald Slim continues to prove himself as one of the crew's leading men with "3 Rules." Featured on the track is lesser-known member Stalin Majesty, and production comes from KeithCharles Spacebar, still Awful's go-to producer, though you'll get a peek at his full range of talents on his recent album We're All a Little Triflin'.
The KCSB beat is not to be missed. There's a lot going on, from video-game bleeps to synths that overwhelm and deflate throughout the track, but Slim and Stalin, like most of Awful, have a biting, at times sinister, delivery that'll keep your undivided attention.
