With a beef going down between The Game and Young Thug yesterday, it seems appropriate to use one of The Game's many diss records as a throwback track. Plus, after cataloguing some of his more prominent beefs yesterday, we have "One Blood" on our mind. Admittedly, "One Blood" isn't a straight out diss track like "Uncle Otis" or "My Bitch," but it does contain a slight in Jay Z's direction. There was also some debate around whether or not Game dissed Atlanta in the song, however the rapper later claimed he did not (those bars are in Quotables below).
The song was a single off Game's second studio album, Doctor's Advocate, from 2006. It should be noted that The Game is still rapping, and he's 35. Three years away from the apparent age of retirement, 38.
Quotable Lyrics
I ain't got beef with 50, no beef with Jay
What's beef when you getting head in the six-tre?
And the double Game-Chain, I keep 'em on display
Black T-shirt, so all you see is the A
Turn on the TV, and all you see is the A
You niggas better make up a dance and try to get radio play
Keep on snapping your fingers, I ain't going away
I don't regret what I spit, cause I know what I say
