Back in February, Atlanta duo Earthgang dropped a sick tape called Torba, and now less than two months later, they're already gearing up for their next project. This one will also include tracks from their various Spillage Village associates, and will be called Bears Like This 2, and today we get the first taste. This one's called "Metropolis," features J.I.D, and was produced by the ever-amazing Childish Major.
Coming in at over six minutes in length, the track begins with a dope free form verse before the main beat kicks in. When it does, it's eerie, groovy and intriguing. EarthGang's on the rise, and "Metropolis" is one of their best tracks yet.
Quotable Lyrics
Eye level, they wanna see us
But it's hard to chop a sequoia to a tree stump
With a butter knife
That shit would take an eon
