We last heard Joe Moses on Jay 305's "Thuggin", and now the L.A. rapper is back as the lead artist on "One Thing About Me". The track comes off a new album, #BoogieNitez, from producer Disko Boogie, who's quickly entering the top tier of West Coast beatmakers.
The track is a nice dose of old-school Cali funk, equipped with vocoder samples, cuts n scratches, and a super-sticky bassline--laid down by L.A. funk-man Diamond Ortiz. Joe Moses dances around the bubbly beat while still keeping things 100% gangsta.
Listen to the track, check out #BoogieNitez, and let us know what you think of Brick Squad Monopoly's Joe Moses.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm really from the game
A lot of niggas industry bang
I'm all about respect
In the 50s I'm a motherfuckin' vet
My young niggas blastin'
Fuck all the talk, fuck rappin'
