Back in January, we introduced you to Seattle spitter Dave B with a pair of dope tracks called "Leaves" and "Do That," and now he's back with another. This one's called "Rain," and the production on it (handled by Stewart Villain) is a little more adventurous this time around.
Whereas its predecessors rolled along with easygoing boom-bap vibes, this one's somehow both more earthy and more synthetic. Chimes and a vocal sample kick things off before wonky synths are spliced in to add some depth; all the while, the beat creates an interesting pocket for Dave's rhymes.
We're looking forward to hearing more from Dave B.
Quotable Lyrics
In the back back with an AUX cord, need a car charge
Got a bad broad with a fat fat
She a class act, know the kid play games
But he get paid, still ask 'Where the cash at?'
