Pete Rock doesn't have to do a damn thing these days. The producer's legacy is set in stone, but it's hard to stop someone who's so inspired by what they do. Luckily, Rock hasn't come close to losing his skill for crafting knocking instrumentals. Today the beatmaker has announced plans to release a follow up to his 2001 beat tape, Petestrumentals, and "One, Two, A Few More" is our first taste.
A low-key groove is interrupted intermittently by some sampled vocal stabs, bringing back the sounds we know and love from the legendary musician. Look out for Petestrumentals 2 June 23rd.
