Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning on DUI charges after Scottsdale police allegedly found him asleep at the wheel of his car.
Floyd and his teammates had just returned from Miami after losing to the Dolphins 26-23 in a game that all but eliminated them from playoff contention. He had just two catches for 18 yards on Sunday.
According to ArizonaSports.com, Floyd was charged with two counts of DUI and one count of obstructing a roadway and failure to obey a police officer but was released shortly after being booked.
"The Scottsdale Police Department said Floyd was found unconscious at the wheel of his car near Scottsdale Road and Goldwater Boulevard at 2:48 a.m. Monday morning. The car was running."
