Homicide

While it may not have immediately resonate as a rap region, Virginia has bred a whole lot of talent over the years. Timbaland and the Neptunes, inarguably the two most important production acts of the 00s, both hail from V.A., as do their subsequent pet projects, Missy Elliott and Clipse. LueQue continues in the gritty, but highly musical tradition of those acts, delivering "Homicide" today, which filters DJ Mustard through the sounds of his own city.
