Two weeks after the release of his latest EP, 15, OG Maco is back with "5 A.M in LA". It's immediately clear this is a more introspective Maco than were used to, and he has the lyrics to prove it. On his soundcloud, Maco captions the track: "5 AM in L.A. and I just made it major", so we assume he recorded this soon after his signing with Migos' and Coach K's Quality Control. Obviously, this is a huge step for Mac, and he takes the time to reflect on how he got here.
The reflective track is also aided by a chilling beat courtesy of Boi-1da understudy Sevn Thomas, who's produced for Mobb Deep and Kelly Rowland.
Let us know what you think of this new swag from Maco.
Quotable Lyrics
So if it's nothin', I suggest you say it
'Cuz my lil homie got the stick, and he suggest he spray it
Five in the mornin' in L.A., and I just made it major
Thank the savior, thank the haters, you can thank me later
Dom Perignon from '98 help me remember patience
