Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" brings the people together. No matter who you are, it's difficult to resist the gleefully catchy hook from Wap's buzzing single. Of course, more than a couple of rappers have shared their own versions of the song by this point, and there's been a surprising variety in those that have taken it on. The latest rapper to do so is none other than Da Brat, who has been showing up now and again to hop on some hot instrumentals.
We heard her do "Fancy" most recently, but "Trap Queen" feels like a better fit, especially when she can actually assume the perspective of the titular character. We were hoping she was gonna break out some hooks, but she stays within some hardened bars on the second verse, and we're not mad at all.
Quotable Lyrics:
Bando or condo
Wherever he go I follow
He my bitch, and I'm his nigga
Forever, not just tomorrow
