Montreal native Wasiu made his first appearance on HNHH the other week, after we premiered his debut single "Physical" featuring production from Kaytranada. Today Wasiu is back again with his second leak, and once again he's got the production tip on point, calling upon Nez & Rio to create a more hard-hitting backdrop compared to the mellowed out "Physical."
"Stereo Type" is a powerful record with Wasiu listing off stereotypes a white man might think about a black man-- which shows just how ridiculous these kinds of blanket generalizations are. "Heard they carry loads of gats, and they sell kilos of crack, only care about hoes and raps, I heard one yelling in the raps," he spits. By taking on this perspective, we also see just how much the idea of violence is intertwined with racism. It's a thought-provoking record that would still bang in the whip.

Quotable Lyrics
Heard it's booty over everything
And they shoot you for anything
Like shoes if you step on them
That's truly embarrassing
I heard they all have weapons
If you test them they go reckless
Heard they struggle for his gun
They kill that fucker just for fun
I mean protection, self defense-less
Shoot them protesters, let's get it
Rubber bullets to they melon
Keep crying, tear gas will help them
