Disko Boogie is one of the most versatile producers in the game, proving he can craft synth-driven R&B pop as easily as he can put together some new school G-Funk. His new record is rooted more in the latter category, keeping things decidedly West Coast, but also as gritty as possible.
Problem, whose talents are similarly varied, handles the majority of the vocals, laying down some aggressively catchy ad-libs and punchlines. Boogie's upcoming mixtape -- which will find him behind the boards on a wide selection of new material -- is due out March 1st. Titled Boogie Nitez, it shares its name with Paul Thomas Anderson's porn industry epic, so we're sure it'll live up to the hype.
Quotable Lyrics:
My bitch too fine to cheat
Surrounded by green, wreath
Like jail with the bars
Saved by the bell, Screech
