CyHi The Prynce will be celebrating Black History Month by releasing a new mixtape, just like he did last year with Hystori: Black History Project. This one is a mouthful, with the title BHP 2: N.A.A.C.P. (New Artists Aligning Cultural People). The mixtape's release is tomorrow, February 13th.
CyHi continues to warm us up for what's to come with leaks, after giving us "To Be Real" on Monday he returns today with "Weak People." Once again, Tec Beatz is involved in the production, as well as Esteyban. The track starts with a sermon from Pastor James David Manning, with CyHi adding that the track is "for my brother, Kendrick Lamar", before completely going off on the beat.
Give it a listen and check back for BHP 2 tomorrow.
Quotable Lyrics
Niggas kill each other every day and ain't no evolution
My partner shot a 100 niggas and it was never proven
We just labeled him a gangster and kept it moving
Let me give you the same outcome, separate shooting
A white man kill a black we holla persecution
So instead of lootin' it's time to find some better schoolin'
You can act like yall don't understand what I'm elocuting'
