Project Pat has shone brightly these past few months, showing, at age 41, he's still very much in the game. He was brought to Taylor Gang by Juicy J, who is part-owner and A&R man for the label. He scored a hit with fellow labelmates Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign on "Twerk It." Now he's back with "Goon'd Up," which features young Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh. It's produced by Lil Awree, the same guy who did the beat on "Twerk It." While "Twerk" showed Pat updating his sound to hang with Ty and Wiz, "Goon'd Up" is all old-school Hypnotize Minds flavor--the Pat we know and love.
"Goon'd Up" appears to be the first single off Pat's upcoming album, Mista Don't Play 2: Everythangs Money, his first since 2011--set for release next month.
