After a few records that didn't do his usual numbers, Usher found the right single with "I Don't Mind". The Juicy J and Migos-assisted track takes the right notes from hip hop's current trends (sub bass, ad-libs, and strip club themes), while still keeping within an attainable lane for the singer (let's not forget that he was at the forefront of ATL club sounds 10 years ago with "Yeah").
We've heard a couple of rappers add their own 16 to the mix, but today Troy Ave adds some east coast flavor to the southern track. The minimal instrumental shows its versatility here, working cooperatively with Troy's 50-esque delivery.
Quotable Lyrics:
Dope boy Troy, don't believe we've met
I know your ex boys kinda leave you stressed
Do what you do, I don't think no less
I'm running these streets, I ain't get no rest
