Uptown spitter Emilo Rojas is currently prepping an EP entitled Life Got In The Way, which is scheduled to arrive in March, but before he begins dropping tracks from that release, he's opted to give us one that won't appear on the project. "The Break Up (Friends Turn To Enemies)" was produced by !llmind and Frank Dukes.
Throughout the building track, Rojas details a crumbling relationship in which both him and his girl struggle with trust issues, constant fighting and histories of turmoil. The beat is busy but light, with no bass drums appearing at all. Rojas sounds great on this one.
Quotable Lyrics
I started texting other broads again
'Cause you just been accusing me nonstop
I might as well do
What you thought I did
