With his 2014 song "Trap Queen," Fetty Wap broke out of his local New Jersey scene and became a known entity in the rap game. Today, the recent 300 signee follows it up with a new one entitled "RGF Island."
Whereas "Trap Queen" was dedicated to a woman who held it down for Fetty, "RGF Island" finds Wap giving thanks to his crew. Fetty's delivery on the new one is similar to that of "Trap Queen," with his auto-tuned vocals eternally peaking at the crest of pitchy crescendos. In a sea of auto-tune-obsessed rappers, it's hard to carve out your own distinct sound, but Fetty's well on his way to being a singular artist.

Quotable Lyrics
Ay, my niggas stack they money just to spend it
Cause when you die you cannot take it with you
If you ain't beefin' 'bout no money what's the problem?
Don't worry 'bout my niggas cause I got 'em
