Check out another new track from Aesop Rock, titled "Cat Food".

Aesop Rock decided to drop two new solo records unannounced today, and both find him in top form, delivering densely aggressive verses, and heavy synth-funk instrumentals. While Aesop rock provided the instrumental for "Bug Zapper" himself,  he is reunited with Blockhead (the producer responsible for the majority of Rock's 2001 breakthrough, Labor Days) on "Cat Food".

The two songs were released on iTunes today, but apparently they were already available on a rare 7" release. Unfortunately, they are not necessarily a signifier of a new album on the way, but it doesn't mean that something isn't coming. Rock is heading out on the Bestiary Tour today.

Quotable Lyrics:
I've got a brand new normal
And I'm 30 in New York, plus
Years at the fire
Pulling portions out of corn husk
Nevermind time on the short bus
Terrifying errant nights
Thwarting any motherfucking fork tongue
