King Chip recently popped up in the news after Chuck Inglish leaked an old track that Chip and Kid Cudi had recorded, much to Cudi's dismay. After seeing Cudi spar with Inglish on Twitter, Chip drops off a track that proclaims his comfort with rolling, to borrow a phrase from Cudder, "Solo Dolo." "By My Lonely" is a self-produced cut that's muted, menacing and fiercely independent in nature.
Opening with avocal sample of someone saying "Don't believe the hype," the track then has Chip dissing people who rely on their crews and calling himself a "one man movement."
Dig this? Let us know.
Quotable Lyrics
Bitch, I'm in California coolin'
Bitch, I'm a one man movement
That's the whole point of being a king, you fuckin' doofus
If I up the ante, ain't gon' aim it where the roof is
